Lead Technical Content SME, working to meet a variety of writing and content needs for an early-stage technical startup.
Managing/contributing to ProjectDiscovery’s documentation site with a 90-day trend of over 35K unique visitors.
Writing, editing, and maintaining technical content with a focus on user-centric best practices.
Content creation and editorial support for a professional cloud-hosted solution (Beta) and an established suite of open source tools.
Providing UX writing and review for product design (interfaces, workflows & interactions, errors, labels, and messages).
Writing technical web and marketing content (websites, microsites, blogs, feature pages, etc).
Collaborating with marketing, community, design, product, engineering, and leadership across all projects and objectives.
My role as the Technical Writing Manager started with DivvyCloud (Rapid 7 acquired DivvyCloud in May 2020) where I created and developed the product documentation team. This effort established both the team and all documentation processes, tools, and goals.
Lead docs with a focus on delivering accessible, organized, customer-driven content for the InsightCloudSec product including: release notes, feature summaries, product documentation, and API docs.
Managed the prioritization, scope, and delivery of all of the content created by the docs team for weekly releases.
Worked as an individual contributor, writing content as needed to deliver on deadlines driven by Agile planning.
Collaborated with UX Design, Engineering, Release, and Support to improve processes, solve issues, and meet customer goals.
Scaled the team and content as InsightCloudSec grew our customer base from 10 to over 160 with thousands of consistent monthly page views and unique visitors to our public documentation site.
Partnered directly with Senior UX Design leadership to provide support for in-product content including: designs, messages, workflows, Pendo, and other in-product requirements
Responsible for all project planning and operations for documentation in a highly technical (CLI-based), cloud software development organization.
Contributed to product content including: feature summaries, user guides, instructional overviews, and hands-on examples.
Ongoing collaboration with Engineering SMEs, Product Managers, and QA to understand features and capabilities.
Writing and editorial support for technical marketing materials (data sheets, e-books, white papers), knowledge base content, social content (tweets, blogs, emails), internal documentation (processes, procedures, design documents), and copy.
Researched and managed the implementation of a new documentation tool and website (MadCap Flare) to provide content supporting the launch of Fugue’s Risk Manager product.
